Dr. Greg Bowers (tenor, composer, musical director)

Awards include grants from the Regional Arts and Culture Council of Portland and the New York Foundation for the Arts. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his partner, Patrick Teague.

Rev. Scott P. Hossner (bass, audio/visual design and production)
first sang in front of an audience in church when he was five, and no one has shut him up since. Over the years, he has performed with numerous choral groups from the Festival Chorale Oregon to the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus. Some of his favorite stage roles include Motel the Tailor in A Fiddler on the Roof and Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Scott has been playing the
role of “himself” in The Calamity Carolers of Doom since its foreboding inception more then a dozen years ago. Currently, Scott is President and Senior Partner of Allied Video Productions in Salem, Oregon. Scott was ordained with World Christianship Ministries via the internet and is available for weddings.

  Susan Schoaps (alto)
was born in Washington, raised in Hawaii, Kentucky, Colorado, California, and North Carolina, and now lives in Oregon. She has performed extensively in California and Oregon, having been seen in Noises Off, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, How the Other Half Loves, Into the Woods, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Cabaret, among others.
